Council is, pursuant to the provisions of Section 253(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, seeking public comment regarding the amended Councillor Expenses and Facilities Policy. The amended Policy is available for access by clicking on the link below, with the amended parts of the Policy highlighted in yellow colour. These amendments provide for definitions for the terms "civic duties" and "local travel" to make interpretation of the Policy clearer. Submissions from the public are invited by 31 January 2025 and must be sent by email to council@tenterfield.nsw.gov.au or posted to 247 Rouse Street, Tenterfield, NSW, 2372.
