Centenary Cottage Museum is thinning out its agricultural collection Due to overcrowding and safety concerns, The Tenterfield and District Historical Society needs to rationalise its extensive collection of agricultural and related items from the rear area of the Centenary Cottage Museum in Logan Street. If you have donated items and would like to reclaim them, we want to hear from you. Items that have not been reclaimed before the end of this 2024-2025 financial year will be distributed to other museums or sold to raise funds for the Centenary Cottage Museum. A list of surplus items can be found the at: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DDQg7hd8M While we are always welcome donation enquiries, we also have curatorial priorities designed to enhance the Museum’s existing displays and collections. The TDHS is also looking for new members who have an interest in local history.
